Please review the following information carefully. It contains critical warnings from the FDA regarding medications you may be prescribed. For any questions, consult your healthcare provider or another licensed healthcare professional.
Regarding Compounded Medications: Medications prescribed through MedFit Health are compounded medications meticulously prepared in licensed pharmacies. While their efficacy and safety profiles may not be directly comparable to commercial drugs, they are customized to meet individual patient needs. Discuss with your provider the specific risks and benefits associated with the use of compounded medications. The following safety data is provided for convenience and should not be used as a basis for determining the safety and efficacy of any compounded medications.

Semaglutide
Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in Wegovy® and Ozempic®

Key Warnings Include:
- Thyroid C-cell Tumors: In studies with mice and rats, semaglutide caused thyroid tumors including thyroid cancer. It is not known if semaglutide will cause thyroid tumors or medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) in people. Do not use if you or any family members have ever had MTC or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
- Pancreatitis: Discontinue if pancreatitis is suspected. Do not restart if confirmed.
- Diabetic Retinopathy Complications: Report any changes in vision to your provider.
- Heart Rate Increase: Tell your provider if you experience a racing heartbeat at rest.
- Suicidal Behavior and Ideation: Monitor for mental health changes, especially sudden changes in mood, behavior, thoughts, or feelings.
- Allergic Reactions: Stop use immediately and seek medical attention if you experience swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat, severe rash, rapid heartbeat, or difficulty breathing.
- Pregnancy: Discontinue at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Never share a vial, needle, or syringe — sharing poses a risk of serious infection.
Tirzepatide
Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in Mounjaro® and Zepbound®

FDA Label — Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) 2022
Key Warnings Include:
- Thyroid C-cell Tumors: Same warning as semaglutide. Do not use if personal or family history of MTC or MEN 2.
- Pancreatitis: Report persistent severe abdominal pain to your provider immediately.
- Hypoglycemia: Risk of low blood sugar when used with insulin or insulin secretagogues.
- Serious Allergic Reactions: Discontinue immediately if symptoms occur.
- Diabetic Retinopathy: Report any vision changes immediately.
- Heart Rate Increase: Tell your provider right away if you have a racing heartbeat at rest.
- Suicidal Behavior and Ideation: Pay attention to any new or worsening mental health changes.
- Drug Interactions: Tell your provider all medications you are taking including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, and supplements.
- Never share a vial, needle, or syringe — sharing poses a risk of serious infection.
General Safety Information for All Programs
- All medications require a valid prescription from a licensed physician following a clinical evaluation
- Store medications as directed — GLP-1 injectables are temperature-sensitive and must be refrigerated
- If you experience any unexpected side effects, contact your prescribing physician immediately
- Do not adjust your dosing regimen without discussing with your provider first
- Inform all your healthcare providers of all medications you are taking
- Keep all medications out of reach of children
